{"id":2742,"date":"2011-10-04T15:53:27","date_gmt":"2011-10-04T15:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ohrstromblog.com\/spsarchives\/?p=2742"},"modified":"2011-10-07T20:58:52","modified_gmt":"2011-10-07T20:58:52","slug":"choir-holiday-1890","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ohrstromblog.com\/spsarchives\/archives\/2742","title":{"rendered":"Choir Holiday 1890"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was traditional that on the annual Choir Holiday a school-wide cricket tournament was played.\u00a0 The connection between choir and cricket is due most assuredly to the fact that the longtime choirmaster, James Carter Knox (Form of 1865 and faculty member from 1868-1929) was an early and devoted player of cricket at St. Paul&#8217;s School.<\/p>\n<p>A notation on the back of the photograph dates it to June 10th, 1890.\u00a0 The photographer is listed as Charles A.
