{"id":6181,"date":"2013-05-03T16:21:23","date_gmt":"2013-05-03T21:21:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ohrstromblog.com\/spsarchives\/?p=6181"},"modified":"2013-05-09T12:52:06","modified_gmt":"2013-05-09T17:52:06","slug":"interior-of-the-new-chapel-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ohrstromblog.com\/spsarchives\/archives\/6181","title":{"rendered":"Interior of the New Chapel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This photograph shows the New Chapel looking toward the choir.\u00a0 The section of the Chapel that leads up to the pulpit is traditionally called the choir, even though the actual choir itself sits in the area near the organ in the chancel.<\/p>\n<p>This early interior view shows the Chapel prior to the addition of the west door in 1928, which is now located behind the baptismal font in this photograph.\u00a0 The large window in the center of the photograph has lightly tinted &#8220;cathedral glass&#8221; in it, letting in an abundance of light. The first of the stained glass windows in this section of the Chapel was installed in 1888 &#8211; the Nativity window located over the Rector&#8217;s stall.
