Events illustrated on the plaque were described in the Autumn 1967 Alumni Horae (pg. 150): &#8220;Malcolm K. Gordon, &#8217;87, known as &#8216;the hand that rocked the cradle of American Hockey,&#8217; died November 13, 1964.
