What is healing fiction??
Healing fiction, or “K-healing”, is a popular, feel-good literary genre originating from Korea and Japan that focuses on ordinary characters overcoming emotional struggles like loneliness, grief, and burnout. These cozy, heartwarming stories often feature gentle, slow-paced plots set in quaint locations like cafes or bookstore. They incorporate light magical realism to provide hope, comfort, and, as the name suggests, a sense of healing for the reader.
