The Library is very pleased to share its purchase of the digitized Smithsonian Magazine (1970 – present) and Air & Space Magazine (1970 – present). These titles may be searched concurrently, or individually. Both original text and original images are included. Smithsonian Magazine is known for its natural history coverage, both contemporary and historical. Air & Space Magazine, also a Smithsonian publication, is known for its coverage of aviation, including space exploration and travel.
Now on the Ohrstrom Library site is a new research guide in support of the Physics Firsts students investigating the sustainability of humans living in space. Spotlight on: The 4-volume Reference set, 2012 ed. of Space Sciences living within the Library’s digital reference collection. Research guides gather together the most pertinent library resources for a specific project, from the larger (and ever-expanding) universe of Library sources/collections. Please feel free to contact Ms. Sanborn (lsanborn at sps dot edu) for a research consultation and/or to discuss any of the items in this guide.
