    This Archibald Cox might be the father of the famous lawyer of the same name, who served as US Solicitor General under JFK and LBJ, and as Special Prosecutor during the Watergate scandal.

    Yes, the Archibald Cox in this photograph is the father of Archibald Cox, Jr. of Watergate fame. He also attended St. Paul’s School, graduating in 1930.
