Boss Research

By - Research & Instruction Librarian January 16th, 2014

While pulling last term’s database raw search stats, this happily astonishing graphic jumped out at me:

boss_research

What is this?

Well, this chart indicates that our collective suite of Ebsco periodical products, was searched 3,285 times during the month of November 2013.

Why is this unusual?

In Nov. 2012, this product was searched 524 times.

In Nov. 2011, this product was searched 357 times.

Who did this boss research?

Human Physiology students, of course!  Researching diligently on the Microscopic and Cellular Level Impact research project.  Way to research!  🙂

Human Physiology: Research Guide

By - Research & Instruction Librarian October 17th, 2013

Dear Hum. Phys.,

It was great to meet with you today!  As the key to the assignment is writing a literature review, I wanted to mention again the Academic/Scholarly Journal tab in the research guide.  The digitized library journal collections included in this page of the guide are those that best match the subject of this research assignment.
