New Literature eReference

Over the break, the Library purchased two major Literature eReference sets.

Dictionary of Literary Biography – This 410 volume set includes 14,600+ biographies of a wide variety of writers. Library Journal referred to this set as the “best overall literary reference work ever published.”

Contemporary Literature Criticism – This 324 volume set includes literary criticism and biographical entries for 3,000+ contemporary authors.

 

 

 

 

New Reference Book: Musicians & Composers of the 20th Century

A five volume set, being a biographical catalog of international (yet mostly Western) musicians.  Most entries are between three and five pages in length.

Examples include: Mary J. Blige, John Dever, Luciano Pavarotti, Salt and Pepa, Tammy Wynette
