Miss Representation

In support of upcoming LINC programming, the library recently purchased streaming access to Miss Representation, via library streaming film vendor, Kanopy.

 

What is Miss Representation?  This documentary looks at and considers the lack of media representation of female leadership.  The filmmakers synopsis is here.

New Literature eReference

Over the break, the Library purchased two major Literature eReference sets.

Dictionary of Literary Biography – This 410 volume set includes 14,600+ biographies of a wide variety of writers. Library Journal referred to this set as the “best overall literary reference work ever published.”

Contemporary Literature Criticism – This 324 volume set includes literary criticism and biographical entries for 3,000+ contemporary authors.
