    Ebsco App for Apple Devices

    Ohrstrom Library purchases a variety of research content from longtime library vendor, EbscoHost, including a suite of digital journals, magazines & newspapers and a collection of over 112,000 eBooks. To search these collections while on-the-go, consider the Ebsco App for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch (iOS 3 or higher). To download the app, first create a free account with Ebsco using the link in the upper-righthand corner of any Ebsco product. After creating this account, the bottom of the Ebsco page contains a link referring to their available apps.     The ARTstor website is optimized for compatibility with iOS devices. Once you have registered with ARTstor using your SPS email address the ARTstor Mobile site will load automatically when you visit the ARTstor website using the Safari browser on your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch runing iOS 2, 3 and 4.  You may begin at the Library site, ARTstor’s direct link (if on campus), or via vpn.sps.edu if you are off the grounds.     ebrary eBook Reader – There’s an App for that!

    ebrary recently released an app for iOS devices.  After downloading the app, one can then download & read offline, up to 10 ebrary ebooks for up to 2 weeks. Ohrstrom Library’s ebrary collection currently contains 72,000 ebooks, predominantly academic titles published within the last 10 years. To download the app, first sign in to your ebrary account.  To create an account, click the same sign in-link while on the SPS network, & create an account with a user name and password of your choosing.
