    Arab World Research Source – Trial

    Another trial is currently running for a new product offered by library vendor, Ebsco, through the end of the week, titled Arab World Research Source.  I originally had my eye on this for the Intro to Islam course, but perhaps you see additional applications?  *(waves to Encounters)*   From their site:  “This rich resource offers academic journals, trade publications, conference papers, industry profiles, and more that are published in or pertain specifically to the Arab World. “   Go to: http://trial.ebscohost.com User Id: ohrstromtrial Password: trial   P.S.  Many thanks to Ebsco for allowing the trial & password info to be placed on the blog.

    Now available!  The SPS Engineering Digital Library.   What is it?   A collection of digital sources purchased by SPS in support of the new Honors Engineering program, including: IEEE Xplore ACM Digital Library Springer eCollection Details on how to extract engineering eBooks from the over 300,000 eBooks purchased by the library (!)   Questions?     New Research Guide: Anatomy & Physiology

    Now on the Ohrstrom Library site is a new research guide in support of the Anatomy & Physiology, Congenital Heart Defect Project. Spotlight on:  The Academic/Scholarly Journals tab within this guide.  This tab details the steps to collecting scholarly journal articles from Library-purchased databases of digitized journals.  Consider these databases when fulfilling the three journal article requirement for successful completion of the project.   Research guides gather together the most pertinent library resources for a specific project, from the larger (and ever-expanding) universe of Library sources/collections.
