    Fresh Content: Times {of London} Digital Archive

    The SPS Library has, for several years, purchased access to the Times {of London} digital archive. Over the March Break, an additional 20 years of content was added to the archive, now offering newspaper articles from 1785-2007 (over 3.4 million newspaper articles). Additionally, the interface was upgraded.  This sleeker interface also allows for cross-searching the Library’s other UK newspaper archive, the Illustrated London News.

    New Research Guide: WWII Bibliographic Essay Project

    New on the Library site is a research guide in support of the Humanities 5, WWII Bibliographic Essay Project. Spotlight on:  The newspaper & newsreel tab.  Use these newsy digital collections purchased by the Library, to locate news of the War written/produced/published as the War was occurring. Research guides gather together the most pertinent library resources for a specific project, from the larger (and ever-expanding) universe of Library sources/collections.     Looking for the local paper?  Wondering what newspapers can be found in the  newspaper database?  Need daily coverage from the Times of India? Ohrstrom Library has a new web page describing what and where the library’s newspaper subscriptions can be found. Digital, print, archival, global, local: this page was designed to make the newspaper you’re looking for a bit easier to find.  Also consider using the Library’s  as another means of pinpointing the location of a specific title.
